China Glaze "Wagon Trail" and "Zombie Zest"

i'd lusted after China Glaze "Wagon Trail" for a long time and finally received it in a swap. however, i was disappointed by "Wagon Trail" because it was more black and less shimmery than i hoped. shown two coats.



i wore it for a day before visiting my local Sally Beauty Supply. there i saw the China Glaze Halloween collection and instantly bought "Zombie Zest". i put a layer of it over one of my "Wagon Trail" nails in the car and loved the combination. i think the "Zombie Zest" looks great on a dark background. shown one coat of "Zombie Zest" over two coats of "Wagon Trail"

  2. That's how I felt about Wagon Trail, too. Maybe they changed the formula or something because it looked so cool in older swatches. I wish I tried layering before I gifted mine away!
