this is my first gold polish. actually it's a gold/burgundy metallic duochrome. and it's a stunner. i had the same issue with "Gold Leaf" as with "Peacock"--took forever to dry. i had to re-do three nails because applying the Nubar Diamont top coat caused drag marks. so that was annoying. maybe i'll use a hair dryer in the future. seriously, i had to wait about 10 minutes before i could safely apply a top coat, and i only used 2 coats of each Nubar polish i've had this problem with.

you can see the duochrome pretty well in the last two photos.
I like it! It's not "in your face" as some golds can be.
ReplyDeleteyeah it's a very bronze-y sunbaked sort of gold.
ReplyDeleteHey! I just found your blog. You have beautiful nails!
ReplyDeleteThat color is simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIts hard to go wrong with a Nubar duochrome - even if its a color I don't like. I have and love this too. I think I have all of Nubar's duochromes tho. Looks fabulous on you!
ReplyDeletethank you Lissi, Danielle, and Lacquer Ware.
ReplyDeleteLacquer Ware, i agree with you. Nubar has incredible duochromes, and they are underrated. they deserve more hype!
