behold my first Color Club polish; i swapped for it. it was released as part of the Summer 2009 Electro Candy collection. "Ultra Violet", especially for having such a generic name, is such a weird colour. i mean, it isn't, but on the nail it looks odd. it has a milkiness...hard to describe. i'll be the first to admit that it isn't particularly flattering on me, but it holds my interest enough to keep it.
the photos aren't completely accurate; it's more purple in real life. it's a neon purple-magenta with bright aqua-blue iridescent flash. the formula wasn't great; it went on smoothly but needed about four coats to be opaque, but the neon quality meant it dried pretty quickly.
i think it's a neat polish. i like it.
really unusual colour. think I may have to search it out for myself...

This is the one neon I actually have on my WL. One and only. I have no idea why, but this colour calls for me, although in theory this would be too pink for my taste and I never liked neons. Go figure. But i disagree with you on not looking good on you, I think it looks great on your nails!
ReplyDeleteit really is such a unique colour and called to me as well. it's the only neon i own. but i love it; it is very special and worth stepping outside your comfort zone!
